In 1883 the New York gun dealer Schuyles, Hartlet and Graham were commissioned to manufacture a masterpiece with personal and specific attributes. The resulting Cavalry .44-40 Caliber revolver was elaborately engraved by world engraving master L.D. Nimschke. This re-creation is an identical reproduction of that gun, which has been called America’s most beautiful presidential gun.
