The traditional Australian four-bar iron comes in stainless steel, chrome or brass. In the standard size, the iron has a tread depth of 2 1/2", a tread width of 4 3/4", and a height clearance of 4 5/8". The iron is shown fitted with "bottoms", to accommodate the popular 4"-fenders. This adds $10 a pair. Note the top slot to take an English leather (great for dressage!)
